Did this guy deserve best answer(movies) and why?

best guy movies
Cal asked:

I asked a question, and everybody answered with huge lists of movies which was great, and I put it into vote because I couldnt decide who to choose, but the person who had the smallest list, the only one I wouldnt have chose, got the most votes….I just feel bad because all the other people put alot of time into their answers, and I really never thought that voters would choose that guy out of all the answers..would you have chosen that guy’s answer, and why?

No. It’s not fair. but that’s what happens when the people who ask don’t pick a best answer- sometimes the best answer doesn’t always get picked because someone has multiple accounts and votes for themselves. It also isn’t fair when the person who answers correctly first isn’t always picked as best answer even when they have the same amount of info as the person who did. super lame.
sorry for the ranting and raving

I think people chose the small list because most people **** reading those gigantic lists (they sometimes but a limit to their questions) but it’s quality not quantity right?

Although a bit on the light side, there is nothing intrinsically wrong witht he list.

I proabably would not have chosen him, but the people have spoken

they probably liked his movie list the best or they were too lazy to read the others

Some people here on Yahoo! MUST have more than one account and, even though it is against the rules, they vote multiple times on their answer. I once had a guy who did not want my answer to be chosen over his as the Best, so he rigged the voting to vote 12 times for No Best Answer. The chances of that scenario occurring naturally is like a million to one. So he obviously cheated by voting No Best Answer that many times or calling in favors from his friends and/or relatives. That way, he felt that he was deflecting the voting outcome away from himself and, at the same time, I couldn’t possibly be chosen as Best Answerer. Some people will stoop really low! It’s those people who need to remind themselves periodically that this is JUST Yahoo! It’s for fun and to share knowledge.

Sometimes it’s best to choose a best answer even when it’s hard to pick. I would not have chosen that answer either just because I like to have more movies to pick from. I find that the wrong person gets best answer a lot on yahoo, I **** when a bunch of people just copy the first answer and one of the copies wins, this probably wouldn’t happen as much if the voting listed the answers in the order people answered, instead of randomly.
