   Babylon AD looks awesome - I heartily agree on Stargate, the first two Alien movies, the Terminator movies, and the first Matrix movie. Serenity (watch the tv series Firefly first, gives you more appreciation for the characters) isn’t a typical guy movie, but it’s good, it’s geeky, and all of my guy friends LOVE it, and the space battle is pretty epic. Plus, the fighting looks real (actually, some if it was real - the guys who played Mal and the Operative refused to let stuntmen fight for them, so there were a few accidentally landed punches), and the Reavers are terrifying.
   There are the two Underworld movies. Van Helsing is crap, but entertaining. Hellboy and Hellboy II: The Golden Army were great. Enemy Mine. Aeon Flux. Blade Runner. Blade. 300. Kingdom of Heaven. Sin City. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight (loved by all, but they’re comic book movies - therefore they are also geeky). V For Vendetta.
   I’m also looking forward to Spirit, Max Payne, and Watchmen (”The world will look up and shout, ‘Save us.’ And I’ll whisper, ‘No.’”).
