You’re one of the few who realizes that “democracy” is a very poor form of government which always leads to tyranny.
The degenerates in Washington D.C. use the term ‘demoracy’ because Washington D.C. IS a democracy!
It’s the only place in America where the majority rules!
My country (The United States of America) is a Constitutional Republic.
Look at how bad Washington D.C. is (high crime, high taxes, no justice) and look at the States where the Constitution is taken seriously and you’ll see the stark contrast.

The forefathers knew the difference and SPECIFICALLY said Constitutional Republic…you know that “Republic, for which it (It being the USA) stands?”

Exactly correct. Why would they do it any other way? They are making bucket loads of money from laws and legislations that they pass, and all in the name of democracy.
Maybe Washington being an independent ’state’ along with the Vatican, & London city has something to do with it also.
TV is used continually to control minds - even my wife just commented that ESPN uses the ESPN an awful lot compared to our other channels external to the US. Why? The more the brain sees and hears images/words, the more it is absorbed as real. Same way we train kids not to do things; we repeat it over and over until they ‘learn’ what it is they are doing wrong.
How many other things are portrayed as being ‘good’ on TV that in actual fact are anything but good.
It is possibly the worst invention ever, but if used correctly, it would be a very big positive and tool for mankind.

In line with the others, it is used because our school system finds Democracy easier to teach than a Constitutional Republic.
Also since the Press is mostly liberal Democrats (Democracy) and the loyal Opposition is Conservative Republicans, mostly, and so the idea of a Republic is anathema to the Democrats. And they use the popular word that is taught in the government-run schools with the approved books.
And only a few colleges even choose to go it against the tide, schools such as Hillsdale College, where they DO know the difference! And teach it
And the Liberal government knows they know and teach it, so is constantly trying to put them out of business!
Go to and ask for Imprimis…free magazine, with noted speakers on topics of interest, including good government.
